Pumped for this. I'll be paying a few, definitely be in the 6 max, high rollers and main event.

Did we have a turbo last time? I like turbos!



$27.50+$2.50 would be cooler than $27+$3 for the main event. Not many online tournies with more that 10% rake these days...I'll still play but will whinge about it!

Yes for antes but not too early as you don't want it to become a Turbo.

I made the final table of Event 1 [finished 5th or so] and when I was knocked out, it was over 10 hours in, far too long!

Also, how does the Heads-Up actually work cause last time when I was in the last 4 to 6, I was chip leader and was playing against the 2nd chip leader and the smaller stacks were playing each other???

After 30mns or so, it eventually swapped around but didn't seem fair?

888's standard tourney structure for all of their nightly guaranteed events is great

there is a 100/200 level and then a 100/200/25 level and antes stay in for the duration of the tourney.

I've played a couple of those, and the blind structures were great!!!!

On the whole it looks very good, totally agree about antes.

But.... 2 max is RUBBISH and I'm a little shocked it's back again to be honest. I believe you'd get the same runners if it was actual heads up, a lot of people would have thought that's what it was last time, and may not be back for that event this time now they know it's not.

You might have already done this (can't remember) but maybe a poll to see if 2max or heads up is preferred?

There's also plenty of people who probably don't know what the difference is, might be worth explaining it.

yeah 888 dont seem to have shootout tourneys of any kind, so i guess the 2max tourney is just a cheap and nasty solution to this.

've played a couple of those, and the blind structures were great!!!!

seriously, the 888 night time schedule for australia is bloody brilliant. I play on both stars and 888 atm and i find myself playing a lot more tourneys on 888 per night than on stars. the blind structures are good but not too slow, play is just ridiculously soft compared to stars, and the guarantees are climbing all the time.

im sure a lot of people play them regularly like myself (in fact i see a lot of 888pl players) but more people should play them.

If you stay above chip average, any blind structure is good
