"Freerolls games are the main objective of 888pl." This was once written . Ok

Last night on returning to 1 of my venues "the Hoppers club" I get given a poll to fill out . Asking what i would like to see happen all 3 nights ,"Sun , Mon ,Tue " As it is now ( I have said many times "broken record" ) *Sunday 2 cash games* , Monday 1 freeroll 1 cash game , Tuesday 1 freeroll 1 cash game . *Sunday used to be a freeroll *.
I used to play all 3 nights , But since the cash games came in I only play 2 nights "THE FREEROLLS"

I will get a copy of the poll & post the questions on it 2night .

I am lead to believe that we are now about to lose our Tuesday freeroll game to a Terminator game & I hear that the same might be happening @ my other venue , The Tigers club "on a *Thursday* .
Wednesday ( Terminator game & cash game ) Thursday *freeroll* & cash game , Saturday 1 cash game .
again both Wednesday & Thursday used to be freerolls . I used to play both nights until the cash games came in .

Please LEAVE our Freeroll games alone

If you want to mess around with our games Make it the cash games leave our 3 freeroll games that we have left ALONE

I can not afford to play the cash games

Just a question what numbers are you getting to the freerolls v the challenge games.

If they are asking the players perhaps they have had many people asking for more challenge games.

1st we have 8 cash games a week @ our 2 venues v's 3 freerolls .
Wednesday is the biggest night with up to 120/130 runners .@ the Tigers club ( Terminator game )
last night @ Hoppers club we had 58 runners in the freeroll v's 16ish in the cash game .

There are more than enough cash games @ our 2 venues " which are a 5 minute drive apart "

Thanks mate as we dont have any cash games in QLD is hard to judge for me what brings players into your games.

What is a terminator game though? a freeroll?

We had a similar poll last weds at our venue.

I advised I'm happy to play for cash however you run the risk of losing all the players who play for fun as they cannot sit with each other in the cash games.

This was a major killer of the Zagames venue in Caulfied. They went from 70 plus runners in the freeroll to 20~ in the cash game until the closed it altogether.

I suggested a 2nd poker night at the Belle as a cash game to gauge numbers and response.

So you pay $15 to get T5k, then if you want to chip up you have to spend another $15 in the venue to get a card stamped that gives you T5k on top?

I must say that would not suit a lot of people you would probably only have 1 night a week out if that were the case $60 for a couple for a night out is ok, but I cant see you doing it more than once a week.

So I can understand you not wanting to lose your freerolls.

^^^ Cheap nite out IMO......but.....

it does seem a bit silly to remove well patronised free rolls when there are multiple existing cash options for those into that sort of thing.

But who knows what goes on behind the scenes from a $ point of view
