Mid Season Regional Event

Postby Conspiracy Theorist » Fri Jan 16, 2009 6:06 pm

o To qualify for the Metro event you must accumulate 3 FTT’s in the first five weeks of the season.

Can these come from anywhere?

By this I mean, can I play one night each in three seperate venues, earn the FTT and be qualified for this event?

Or does it have to be three FTTs from the same venue in the first 5 weeks?

Thanks

CT

They can come from anywhere. If they were for a single venue, it would be a pretty small field I reckon.

I understand the concept. Im only asking about the qualification process.

If they can come from anywhere, Im already in. I got 10 FTTs from last year.

Thanks benny the cunt.

I'm still gonna try and hit 3 tables just for the heck of it as it's the only way I can win another tourney, LOL.

Umm doesnt the words... first 5 weeks of the season mean anything? You gotta get 3 FTT's, in the current season, in the first 5 weeks, to qualify.

Ok this is how it works
Mid Season regional event (replaces regional finals):
Week 6 of each season will see a regional events held throughout the state.
All qualifiers for Metro regions will combine to have one $5,000 event
Regional areas will have anywhere from $500 - $1,500 prize pools for there events.
To qualify for the Metro event you must accumulate 3 FTT’s in the first five weeks of the season.
To qualify for a regional Victoria event you must accumulate 1 FTT in the first five weeks of the season.
These mid season events will be held in a different format each season; Season 1 will be deepstack event, season 2 will either be a shootout or partners event.
so for the first 5 weeks you need to qualify for at least 3 final tables at any event
So if you play 3 events a week you can qualify buy making 3 final tables at any event in the first 5 weeks

Then the last 5 weeks of the season is the same EXCEPT it is a qualifier for......
Satellite Events: Each season we will Satellite at least one lucky NPL player into a major Australasian poker tournament. These packages will be valued up to $8,000. To qualify for this you must obtain 3 FTT’s in the last five weeks of the season (week 6 to week 10).
so for the last 5 weeks you need to qualify for at least 3 final tables at any event
So if you play 3 events a week you can qualify buy making 3 final tables at any event in the last 5 weeks

Now for your left over FTT"S
FTT EVENTS: FTT’s that have been accumulated thus far can be redeemed for entries into one off tournaments that will be held sporadically throughout the year. These FTT events will be new exciting tournament formats for all players to experience. Prizes at these events will range from $1,000 cash to $3,000 shopping sprees or major poker tournament packages.

ALSO PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS THE QUALIFICATION FOR METRO ....REGIONAL QUALIFICATIONS ARE THE SAME BUT ONLY NEED TO MAKE 1 FINAL TABLE ,
I hope this explains what you need to know if it doesnt please post any questions and ill be sure to answer them for you OR you can go onto www.npl.com.au or even ask your TD he is suppose to know all this information
