Poker for Parkinson’s Wrap Up

On 29th November, Poker Deluxe brought to you by the National Poker League completed its first poker charity event – �er for Parkinson’s.
�8 people attended Caulfield Tabaret to raise money for Parkinson’s Vic�ia and play for over $3500 worth of prizes.

With 100% of re-buys and add-ons going directly to Parkinson’s Victo�, players got right into the spirit, amassing a total of 215 re-buy and add-ons in the first 50 minutes. Along with a poker table raffle, 3 sit & go’s and som�mall donations, we managed to raise $4840 for the Parkinson’s cause.

N�made a $160 donation and the event was a huge success generating $5000 profit for Parkinson’s Victoria.
�e top 25 placed players all received prizes. A big congratulations to Shaun Stockham who took home the first prize; a 42” plasma tv, val� at over $1000. Kathy Fitzgerald who finished in second place will get to spend a night at crown casino with breakfast, wine and 2 gold class movie tickets as well as a new poker table to use at her leisure. And Josh Onas who finished third walks away with $250 to spend at participating retail stores along with a 300 piece chip set.

I would not hesitate to recommend Poker Deluxe and its staff to other organizations wanting to conduct a novel yet professional fundraising event that offers a good expense to income return ratio.
