You're a Bunch of Factors

I am very annoyed at the concept Double December. For those who don't know. During the month of December, all points for playing will be doubled. Eg, 40 players, 1st is normally 50, during December 100. This is Dec 1st - 21st, esentially last 3 weeks of season.
I find this very unfair for those who have done well in first 7 weeks. This is aimed at encouraging people lower on the leader board to finish the season with big jumps in position to take place over last 3 weeks of season. I feel that this has not been done in consideration of regulars who play tight to play and finish consistantly and have achieved high probability of top 5 positions. Rather, these players will HAVE to finish highly in the 2 of the last 3 wks, just to be a chance of finishing in the top 5.
Although not a state leader board contender, i also feel sorry for the people who are. Double points will mean 250 points up for grabs at some venues and blow averages out of playing ability proportions.
Finally this has been annonced with minium notice and should have beem made CLEAR within the first 2 weeks of the season.
I hope this is an errornous oversight and can be reversed and maybe persued in a different manner another season.

Hi there Dasman. Your a little late on this one mate. We have already got a post going in regards to our Non thinking management on this subject.

Apparently the Crown Casino throws this into their tournaments on the odd occation. Seems there are more non thinking people over there too.

Even though they had made up their minds at least they made it look like they were concerned with our thoughts and get a feeler out there from the punters.

A typical time was when they wanted to change the finals prize package Over Seas package anywhere in the world + buyin and cash to spend. We were asked how would we feel if it were changed to cash so we could decide how and where we would spend it, LOL.

An obvious snow job but at least they made it look like we were all for it!!!

Dazman, yes there are bigger points available for everyone else, but for you also! So its fair for everybody in my opinion.

The NPL are a business, and if this is a way for them to prevent drop-off of players in the last few weeks then good luck to them.

Yes it was disappointing that this was announced too late in the season, but i think thats the only thing at fault here. Good luck in the last few weeks, and welcome to the forum.
