But please feel free to discuss what sort of events, entertainment would be worthwhile to or that players would like to see at a one day semi final.

Sorry you thought it an "Absolute tool post" Garth.

Even though it wasn't offensive I didn't think it would be subjected to total censorship. I have made a note that humour is not permitted in forum posts.

I was merely opening up the floor for discussion or information from 888PL Admin regarding something to do whilst we wait 5.5 hours (provided one is still in). A topic which one would have expected Admin to have considered already.

BTW do you think that "Absolute tool post" was the least offensive way of noting the deletion? Thanks for the kick in the shins.

Well the discussion's now been opened Peter - do you actually have any suggestions yourself?

the same thing that is normally run for those knocked out I would expect. S&Gs etc. But I don't know if there is the room or if it's within the budget to run.

Perhaps the normal $10 - $50 buy-in.

What else is there that is free or cheap to run?

firstly, if there was room to run side tourneys, then why would we need to have a flight system!!!!!

pretty simple really.

lol - room fits say, 500 people but you need to sit 700 so you run flights. Still room for another 20 tables lol

for you guys it might be simple and straight forward. Before this event I've never heard of a "Flight" system of tournament.

there are many other aspects of poker tournaments that I have no idea about, hence the question.

IF I'm still in I'll just come home and have a nanna nap. But for some people it won't be worth going home. And I thought there would have been a vested interest in keeping people in venue.
