You're a Bunch of Factors

Last night:

9 player SNG buy-in $225.

I have Aces in the BB, mid position raises 3xBB to $150.
Only Dealer calls and then i re-raise to $450. MP folds and dealer calls.

Flop Q,7,4 rainbow. I jam as im happy with the pot as-is.
Villan calls and shows 10-4 off suit. Of course he hits a 4 on the turn and im toast, but thats not the point.

10-4 off! - to a 9xBB re-raise no less, proof that money does not equal brains!

i told him that i'll take that any day of the week if he wants to keep doing that and wished him luck.

Then it sank in what had just happenned to me, so i hung around observer-stalking/abusing him for the next 15 minutes till he busted out!

Would've made it 550 or bigger after the flat.

Agreed, but i get the feeling he wanted to gamble and would've called it anyway!

I mean, he flats a rise and a re-raise with 10-4 off, lets not try and analyse this one too much and put it down to IDIOTISM.

Ah, so good to know I'm not the only one that does this when I cop a beat from *really* horrible play when the stakes are high.

Bet you made a note so you can easily see next time he's registered for a SnG tho

Just on this subject, I watched a few $500+ SnG's on tilt a while back to see what sort of hands they'd show down with, and you're right, most were pretty ordinary.
