Merry Christmas & Thankyou

I'd like to wish all NPL players & staff a safe & happy Christmas, & offer a special thankyou to Garth, Brock & Ida, the Butler Bros, and all those interstaters who took a chance on bringing pub poker to SA. Well done, you deserve so many congratulations for the efforts you've put in & the results you have achieved.
I've worked so many sh!tty jobs & I still cant believe my luck working for NPL, doing something I really love, so thankyou for that opportunity.
Thankyou also to you players. Of course the NPL could not succeed without you, and it's such a rewarding thing to see so many of you enjoying your poker as much as I do. I'm sure 2008 is going to see great things for pub poker in SA.
A brief word on a couple of NPL (SW) success stories for this year; of course congrats to Andy G for a great result at the Skycity champs, and also to John Henderson who was a regular at the turbo tables for all of season one & half of season two. John (a self confessed gambler) has finally sussed out how to go the distance in a tournament, resulting in 3 NPL wins and a 3rd place at a Sky City satellite event. It's great to see a player learn from his mistakes & really become a good solid poker player. Congrats John, I'm sure next season you'll be a finals contender.
Once again, Merry Christmas to all, and don't worry, it's only a 2 week break. We'll be back soon.
ps. Thanks to you guys for setting up this forum, I hope more players make use of it in the future to have their say on all things NPL. The NPL needs happy players to continue its success.
