Surely I'm not the only one annoyed with the format of this Championship weekend.? How can they possibly have the final for 3 final table tokens (event 3) on at the same time, on the same day, at the same venue as the final for the $5K deep stack invitational (event 2). I'm sure plenty of people have qualified for both, but you can't play both, coz its on at the same time as another final.... what the ? Surely the reason we play all these games is so we can qualify for as many finals as possible, but then they have them clashing? The $5K deep stack event they have been pushing for, getting as many people as possible to pay the extra $10 and play the sit n go's at cash events, but then they can't even make a separate date for this?

I didn't qualify for the 3FTT event, but if I did I'd be pretty disappointed. Didn't you guys learn anything from last seasons partners/region debacle?

think of it thisway - well done on being good enough to qualify for 2 events.

secondly, what if you were one of those people that made 3 final tables but didn't win an event, or people that won an event but didn't make get 3 FTTs? i reckon there would be a lot more people in these categories

for what its worth, the deepstack is definitely the way to go

There are 46 players of the 91 in Event 2 affected, in a field of 617 for Event 3.

Event 3 could start a bit later, but it does seem strange.

Will there be Event 4 seats available during Event 1?? :D

I'm with Peter.

Having an event that required qualification at the same time as an 'open to everyone else' event (ala Partners event last season) is fine - but running 2 events that required qualification concurrently is abit daft.

i do agree with that, now that bacon has put up the stats

maybe one of those tournaments could have started later?

Deepstack starts at 10.30, Terminator starts at 11.15.

I would think The Port Club want 888pl out of there by 5pm, since the Powder play in Darwin at 6.40 that night, and probably have some sort of function on.

Yay, your reward is that you can't play one of them.
