Cash buy in events to launch in Season 2.

The most anticipated product launch in the history of NPL is to commence in week 6 of Season 2.

Cash Buy In events are here and will be launched sporadically throughout South Australia commencing from week 6 of this Season.

All Cash Buy In (CBI) events will range in Buy In from $10 - $20 for regular nightly events with some special events hitting as high as $50 for a buy in. Cash Buy In events will have 100% of the prize pool redistributed to selected players.

Players that play in CBI can still qualify for the $25,000 NPL State Championships by finishing in the Top 5 of the Venue Leader Board, Top 10 of the Regional Leader Board or the Top 50 of the State Leader Board. Because of the added pressure of finishing in the points for these events, as well as the added skill level of all players who will play in this event, double points will be awarded for all CBI events. That means more chances for State or Regional Leader Boards as the place to play for most points will be CBI events.

The tournament structure for CBI events will be completely different to that offered in our freeroll environment. Start stacks for these events will be T2,000 and passports will be used with rebuys equalling T2,000 and Add ons equal to T4,000 in chips. The blind structure will be slightly more accelerated in terms of timing but will include more relaxed blind increases as well as the inclusion of antes. There will be no passport redraws or bad beat tables for these events.

30000/60000 6000 ante 10 minutes
50000/100000 10,000 ante Capped

All venues will charge an Equipment Hire Fee for these events. This is an additional cost and will be charged for all CBI events
For example: $10 buy in event + $3 equipment hire fee = $13 in total cost to players.

At the end of Season 2 NPL will host a $5,000 Guaranteed invitational event open to all CBI qualifiers and those invited to buy into this event. The buy in for this event will be $50 and the tournament will be a true deepstack event with T10,000 start stacks and 40 minute blind levels. This may progress into a two day event dependant on numbers. This event may prove to have a huge overlay which will prove great value to all qualified players.

All CBI events will be separated into three player bands; these bands will decide on the cash prize distribution and $50 buy ins won by players. $50 will be removed from the prize pool for all $5K GTD Deep stack invitational seats with the remaining monies distributed amongst the selected players. The following conditions take place for:

• Field size of 0 – 44
o $50 will be removed from the prize pool.
o Winner will receive entry into $5,000 Guaranteed invitational Deepstack
o Prize pool breakdown:
 1st: 40% + $5,000 GTD Deep stack invitational seat valued at $50
 2nd: 30%
 3rd: 20%
 4th 10%

• Field size of 46 – 70
o $100 will be removed from prize pool
o 1st and 2nd will receive entry into $5,000 Guaranteed invitational Deepstack
o 45 – 70 players prize pool breakdown
 1st: 35% + $5,000 GTD Deep stack invitational seat valued at $50
 2nd: 25% + $5,000 GTD Deep stack invitational seat valued at $50
 3rd: 20%
 4th 10%
 5th: 10%

• Field size of 70+
o $200 will be removed from prize pool
o 1st – 4th will receive entry into $5,000 Guaranteed Invitational Deepstack
o 70+ player prize pool breakdown
 1st: 30% + $5,000 GTD Deep stack invitational seat valued at $50
 2nd: 20% + $5,000 GTD Deep stack invitational seat valued at $50
 3rd: 15% + $5,000 GTD Deep stack invitational seat valued at $50
 4th: 15% + $5,000 GTD Deep stack invitational seat valued at $50

First off, yay for finally getting this implemented. I see no problems with the structure so far. Is the only way to qualify for the 10k deepstack event by winning a weekly CBI?

who is "invited" to buy into the event?

i am guessing you can buy into the event if you have played any CBI events, or you get a free entry if you finish in the top X runners depending on field size.
