To play or not to play?

Postby Scotty » Tue Mar 31, 2009 12:13 am

Indoor cricket final is this Sunday. Been playing for years, Monday nights, and they've decided to run the GFs on a different day this season.

Our GF is at 3:30pm. Six a side, and we have 5 (including me) confirmed starters. Of our reserve players, one cannot make the game, and the other two are iffy about being able to fill in, and won't know themselves whether they can play until Sunday.

Which way do you guys lean when it comes to the ME versus other commitments?

Hard one dude.

I guess fast forward to Monday and imagine having done each of them and missing the other - which makes you more disappointed and regretful?

I've voted straight GF, if you're good mates with the team you play with, it isn't much of a question in my mind, but if it is just a team of "associates", you'd be playing the ME.

LAG IT UP!!!!!!

Just wouldn't be the same without you scott!

Build a 4 x average stack, duck off to cricket, play for two hours, arrive back to wield your 10 BB stack with abandon and triple up four times in a row!

It depends on how much you enjoy playing cricket. If you skip the GF are your mates going to care? Do you care how they feel if you skip it? Is this your first GF? Rather win that, or go deep at States?

Alternatively, flip a coin. Worked for Two-Face.
