Where were all the B&G players

Postby gundog » Mon Sep 22, 2008 10:00 am

My day started with a trip to the airport, my son was going back to Qld, his lunchtime flight left me plenty of time to play a couple of venues before heading home.

1st Cab of the Rank was the Pooraka Footy Club for the 1 o'clock game my stack made a lot of ups and downs with a 13th place finish.

Its about 3.20 it too early to go home so I shoot over to the Parafield gardens CC for the first game which started at 3.30, end result it close to 5 and its all over for gundog.

Heading off to go home I decided to call in to the Lyndoch Hotel, what a venue. The venue staff made you most welcome and their stamping policy is excellent, fully stamped up for a meal and a drink.

I decided to order a meal I was given the option of having it at the bar or in the restraunt, the bar was fine for me I ordered the fish, 2 large fillet with beer battered chips, side salad and a roll all for 13 and a half bucks.

Game on time about 30+ runners, from the onset I had no intention of playing much after the 1st break due to the 5am start monday and the hour and bit drive home, I was playing very bullyish over betting on many hands the eventual outcome I'm all in last hand before the break I hit an A high straight only to be nailed by a Flush on the river, alls good.

It was time to head home anyway to runthe gauntlet of Wombats and Roo's around Blanchtown, it was a great day.
