Season 3 - your goals and expectations

Hey all. Just looking to get some opinions, I'm wondering what everyone's goals and expectations are for Season 3. Would you like to win a tournament - or more than one? Qualify for states? Finish in the top 5/10/whatever in the regional/state leaderboard? Play less/more games?
I've had goals each year and I've followed, and achieved them, every season.
Season 1, 2007: Make points a few times.
Season 2, 2007: Win my first NPL tourny.
Season 1, 2008, Win another NPL tourny and qualify for states.
Season 2, 2008: Win another NPL tourny, qualify for states, and finish in the top 5 in the region again.
All completed.
My goals for Season 3, 2008?
Win TWO NPL tourny's, qualify for states, finish in the top 3 in the region, get player of the week at least once.
That'll be hard.
So everyone, what's your goals for Season 3? Lets follow everyone's progress in here!

my goals:
final table upcoming regional final
make day 2 of the deepstack tournament, and if i do that, make the cash
make states again (been just outside since season 1)
win another tournament
qualify for sky city promotion
but mostly make states again

Good idea ALK.
I achieved my goals in season...
07-1 (points once, 7 games)
07-2 (win/states/venue top 5) 2x win + states + 1st @ venue
08-1 (win/states) 1x win + states, played lots of games and feel I underachieved this season
08-2 (no goals) 2x win, no states, but finished season with huge rush of places and wins. Very happy camper
08-3 goals?
states thru top 50 would be nice
venue top 5 somewhere (yet to be decided)
strike rate no less than 1 win every 17 games (currently 5 wins/109)
win tourney with 100+ runners (will be hard as there aren't too many of these)
Player of the week - like this idea
Deep stack, day 2 (my golf swing HAS gone to rubbish after all)
With attention paid to the bold items.

would love to play in the sky city adelaide hold em championship satellite, hopefully follow in the footsteps of daniel booth, the lucky prick lol

My goals for season 3 - 2008 are less in number than previous seasons.
I'm not fussed if I win a tourney or not (although of course it's nice) but my main aim would be to make sure I qualify for the state final and see if I can't at least equal my top 50 result.
A secondary goal would be to try and qualify for any satellites to bigger tournaments such as Skycity. Those are more of a right time and place kind of effort for my way of thinking though.
Another goal would be to knock Laura out of a tourney. I think I've created a monster!

Excellent thread ALK!!! and congratulations for achieving your goals, you should be so proud of the efforts you have made and the ground you have covered.
As for me, I by far exceeded my aspirations for last season.
Last season I wanted to make finals with this seasons being the time I had a win under my belt.
But I got both goals.
I got top spot in one venue on a day and top 5 for Metro South so I am kinda sorta happy with all of that!!!!!!
Sorry, not boasting, just explaining.
SOOOO having said that
My goal for this season is making it into the top 50 in the state and at least one player of the week top 10.
Also I would really like to keep the statistics and postions I achieved this season just gone and maybe somehow better it.

Find a venue and stick to it. Make Top 5. Qualify for States.
Win a tourney (haven't for a long time)
Learn to bluff
Shut Bob up
1000 psots

Playing only once per week, my goals for season 3 2008 are to
1) Finish in the points greater than 50%
2) Final Table greater than 25%
3) Win at least 1 tourney
4) Play in Sky City Satelitte
5) Make state finals
6) Finish top 100

Win my venue back to back.
Win another tounrament, and get my average to one win every season. (currently 4 wins/56 games)
Make the recombine at this seasons state finals.
Cash at the deepstack.
My venues for every season are to win at least one tourney and make state finals. i have been successful in this 3 out of 4 seasons. i wanna continue this.
