The Hit List!

Hi everyone!

I know there are a few players out there who seem to think i pick on them more than everyone else and all i can say to that is it is TRUE.

I will now list them for you (in no particular order)

Tony Wood - Pooraka FC Boss, He puts on a great show at the Pooraka football club and has come along very well as a poker player. Currently my record with Tony in 1 - 0 in my favor

Ron Morgan - Pooraka Regular. Ron is a great guy that plays at a few events around the north east. He is a skilled player who brings many laughs to any table he sits at. I don't really know why i have in on my hit list. I just really enjoy grinding at him (although i fear he may one day break my legs) My record with Ron is also 1 - 0 (funny because i stacked both Tony and Ron in the same hand)

Enzo Demizio - Mawson Lakes Regular. This is how is goes down. Enzo in early position raises to 2000 (blinds are 200/400) we get one caller along the way to me in the big blind. I take a sneaky peak to reveal a couple of bullets. I move all in over the top of enzo, he calls and the other run folds. Enzo shows down K10 of diamond. Im feeling good about this situation. Until BANG! BANG! BANG! three diamonds on the flop. My bullets smashed by the flush. I was holding the A of diamonds but could pull that 4th diamond to regain the lead. That was he end of my tournament life as well the love me an Enzo could have shared! Enzo you are a marked man!!!! HEHE

Those those of you interested in a Crack at me Nathan Butler AKA The Poker Nerd (your freindly NE Operator) My Regular playing venue is the Pooraka FC. I am offering a Secret Bounty starting tuesday to the player that can collect me in there quest for the top spot.

One last warning, i have a new catch frase. from now on everytime i get knocked out of an event by one of our lovable NPL players, whether is was a bad beat or not. I will walk away from the table saying...............................

Steve collected me at Pooraka this past tuesday. I will be back there next week, i have made the points and final tables on so many occasions yet i have not won an event. I vow to win at Pooraka.

Ive made the hit list

Thats Right. I have TWO new inclusions to the HIT LIST!

Dave Gapper and Darren Bosnjak

Dave has made the list for taking my money is tradgic curcumstances and Darren has made the list as he was the deliver of what i can only discribe as very punishing final table.

I made it to the final table at the Pooraka FC (lasting longer than Ron ofcoarse! hehe) as the chip leader 40,500 In close second was Dave 39,000

I sat in position six and folded every hand until i was in the big blind in which i picked up Q3 off and got away with checking the flop. There were three runners in this pot. The dealer, dave (in the small blind) and me (in the big blind) Flop comes out 3,4,4 Rainbow. Dave leads our for a $6,000, blinds were 3/6 so it was a minimum bet and there was now 24,000 in the pot on my turn to act. I push on this pot believing that neither off my opponents had connected with the board and i was in a commanding position to take the pot. I raised to 24,000, dealer folds, Dave who has lost i big blind already moved all in over the top (not instantly thought, it was after considerable thought) he moves over the top but only for another 5,000. I call. Dave opens 22 agaist my 3Q with a board showing 3,4,4. He turns to me as says, "don't worry, the duece is coming" sure enough... on the turn it did.

Needless the say, the river failed to help me. I was now left with only 8,000, i posted 3,000 for my small blind and then folded to a raise. Now i am left with 5,000.

Two more hands pass and i gain closer and closer to the big blind, i pick up an AK. I move all in, only to have everyone fold except the big blind ofcoarse who had alrady posted 6,000 over my 5,000. SO in a pot worth 13,000 i have AK agaist 4,5 off. First card off the deck was 5, then to rub it in, a 4 comes along too! Very luckily for me, all the cards that hit that boards we hearts so we ended up chopping the pot!

After splitting the pot with an odd chip, i now have 6,000 and im under the gun, blinds have increased to 5/10 i look down at a dizmal 7 9 off, ill take my chances with the BB.

Very next hand, im all in BB, dave is small blind. It is folded all the way around to dave who calls the extra 1,000 to see me all in. Neither of us have veiwed out cards and i decide to roll first. The first cards i flip is and ACE, then i flip my second card, a Q! i Turn to dave and say "so help me god if you out draw me in this hand!!"

In the end he didn't too! He rolled over an AK...

SO DAMN YOU DAVE, and DAMN YOU DARREN!
