 Gold Steve, gold. Haha, you can sit across the table from Fiona and concentrate in summmer... good one.

You know you're a B&Ger when...

- You're playing with Darren and he ignores all the rules he's imposed on you over the season.
- You've tried to bluff Russell Minnet and failed miserably.
- You've heard wheatsheaf players offer such pearls of wisdom as "I will chase any flush, no matter how many you bet" and "if they are suited, I call"
- You've watched someone push all in on a dry sidepot, with air.
- You've witnessed Eugene Cutler qualify for States *shakes head*

Bruce, to be honest i think this fabled "bruce throey" is a little eggagerated. You see at the medium sized B&G venues where there are usually 5-6 tables at the start of play, AT LEAST one player, proably 2 are going to make the final table from each table - if we use the law of averages.

Im officially changing the "bruce theory" to "the law of common sense".

I think if everybody tracks the people that were on their table at the start of the night, i think that EVERYBODY would find that one of these people doing well or on the final table.

just jokes Bruce, sorry to shut down your theory.

(on a side note, does anyone wish that Bruce was actually a loose player instead. "Loosey Brucey" has a much better ring to it, but i guess "Bruce the fold-a-matic" also has a good ring to it) :D

Macca, Macca, macca ............. have you ever heard the one about those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones??????

So, you know your a B&Ger when you correct other peoples spelling but fail to correct your own

Sorry Bob but your spelling is absolutely rubbish as well.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Well, guys and gals as this is initially my thread and I realise what I have to say has nothing to do with "am I a B&Ger yet"? :o

Or that the topic has expanded into and including "you know your a B&Ger when".

And then a spelling bee that went terribly wrong.

I just wanted to let those of you I enjoy playing poker with and also enjoy having a chat and the odd disagreement with that I have some good news and some bad news.

The good news is that I will NOT be on the forum for a while.
Wow, I can hear you going ....... hooray, whoohooo, yippeee, whooppppeeee already. :D Others, OH NO, shock horror, LOL, No only joking I'm sure you will all miss me. :?

The bad news is that what I thought was the Flu and an irritating cough that I have been trying to lose over the last couple of weeks is a little more serious than first expected. :?

So, I'm off to Central Districts tomorrow for some tests and scans etc. Might be in there for a few days or more so it means I'm giving you B&G guys another head start on me. But you know I can catch you, it's just a matter of being in front on the final week. 8-)
