Just turn your bloody cards over, what does it matter what the other guy has! "No, I wanna see what you have first." What is this, preschool? IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE TO YOUR HAND WHEN YOU REVEAL YOUR CARDS, THEY WILL STAY THE SAME AND SO WILL YOUR OPPONENTS.

If I've got Aces or 36 offsuit, and I'm all in/called all in, I just throw my cards over. Ok, I might go "crap, you got me" before revealing 36o, but I don't spend AAAAAAAAAAGGGEEESSS turning them over.

Grrr.

HA HA HA this is soooo funny cuzzz it happens ALL THE TIME ....

If I called to see your cards... I want to see them. It gives a lot of information seeing someones cards.

One more for my Sh1t list.

DRUNKS

There often too pi$$ed by the end of the night and playing on the same table becomes a total pain, as they are usually more concerned with the next drink than what going on at the table.

Sure have a drink and enjoy yourself but there is no reason to get sh1tfaced in the process.

the funniest one i have seen was at the kingy.

dude could hardly walk. he had never played poker before, but just before the second break, he had probably 40K in chips because he was just calling everything.

then he was involved in a 3 way raised and re-raised pot.

waay out of turn, he said i am all in. he had the other players covered by about 30K

we told him that he had to wait his turn, but before we got the chance to work out what the pot was etc, he just threw ALL of his chips in the middle, and got up and left!

it was one of the funniest things i have seen in poker!

both of the other players had no idea how much they had at the start of the hand, and so we pretty much just grabbed handfulls of 500 and 1000 chips and push them in the directions of the other 2 players. they both probably tripled up, and the rest of the chips got taken off the table.

I must defend my kind! Of which there is one!

I may get carpfaced but I'm not THAT much of a pain. I do try my best not to slow the game down and, despite loving the beer, I'm still thinking about the cards. Afterall... how else am I supposed to prance around like a loon when I get dealt one of my two outs. On the river. <-- just for you Steve_G ;)

Have to remember that you are playing in a pub afterall, and often the front bar. Having just said that though... I still understand the type of player that you're talking about and where you're comming from GunD.

Oh yes. That was it. The slow rolling. That just stems from people not being all that secure about their hand and regardless of position they'll hold on and wait to see everyone else's so that they can just throw them away in the muck if they see they lose.
