I am sorry to disappoint you gentlemen but Shannon has been removed from duties.

Shannon will be sorely missed, as one of the most active staff members constantly promoting venues and NPL on this site and been very popular with players.

Sigh.... yeah.

I am now prepared for the backlash.

Pete: There will be a backlash. No burning down of pubs or anything, but expect less players at Shannon's venues. I've already heard from many players that without Shannon they won't be going. I know I won't.

It was Shannon that dealt my 2nd tourney win, and for that I am truly grateful (I think it was Linda that took my cherry).

I think this goes to show that the TD can make or break the fun for players, and we will miss Shannon. (My team was "Everyone Loves Shannon" at the team event after all).

But, I understand as a business, hard decisions have to be made.

There are other TD's that I enjoy playing under (Dakota, Nathan, Tim, Moose.. for some examples - if I left you out no offence intended except Darren ) so it wouldn't affect my attendance (or current lack of...).

I think the NPL should be applauded for getting such great people involved in the first place. It's a credit to NPL that people are so passionate about their TD's & TA's.
