All cash buy in's, rebuys and add-ons will form the prize pool.

The redeemed passports will not form any part of the prize pool, the chips do not have any monetary value. They are tournament chips, if the chips have a monetary value then it is a ring game.

All monies contributed by players as buy ins, rebuys/add ons will 100% be returned to the player. As you are aware an equipment hire fee can be paid and this will be charged to all players.

If we wish to promote venue spend by incentivising them with additional chips then we can do so.

Thanks for the eventual reply.

In all honesty, I'll be very reluctant to be giving the port cub any money as they basically don't have any of the alcoholic beverages I enjoy and the food they put on for these events is shocking (and overpriced).

I am glad to hear that all the cash rebuys/addons are going into the prize pool though. It's either really good for me or really good for those that cash, be sure to come and say thanks if I bomb out early - I'll be the one kicking the furniture on the way out :P
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

pete your true reason for not spending money should be you want the Port Adelaide Football club to go into administration

for the stamp card rebuys to be successful, they would have to be easier to obtain than just a rebuy. this means that it would have to be less than 10 bucks per card. any word on the stamping policy?

or, are they for an addon that couldn't be bought with cash. is this the case, or are they just the same as a regular rebuy?

Have no idea on the stamping policy. But they don't have to be easier to obtain for less than a re buy, it's quite easy; most people are going to have a drink and possibly a meal anyway, so it would be rewarding those who are spending at the venue.

Regular passport procedures. $10 Rebuy, $10 Add on or $20 double add on.

So the second passport becomes more worthwhile. As well as been able to purchase a double add on on top of the passport. So you could get 6,000 in chips via passports and then spend a further $20 for an additional 4,000 in chips?

Hang on.... double add-on?

I'm used to there being either one or multiple rebuys until the first break and then there's an add-on period where you get ONE add-on.

Are you saying you can use the 2nd stamp card AND cash to give yourself TWO add-ons in the add-on period?

And FYI, any bad beat story posts from the rebuy period of this event will be deleted.
