I'am the Operator for the South West and loving it. I started playing poker about 2 years ago when i work at the casino as a poker dealer. I've been with NPL since the first tournment at the Tonsley on June the 14th i think it was and i've been able to see it grow in to a monster of a communtiy that it is now, excellent. A big thanks to all my staff in my region doing a amazing job and to all my regualr players. It seems only NE players are posting on here, so a big call to all my south west players get on the site and start posting. One last thing i a big congrats to one of regualr South West players Roger Hjorleifson he place on both final tables over the weekend. 2nd at the Aussie Millions and 3rd at the state final a huge effort. I had the pleasure of dealing him the losing hand's on both final tables sorry mate. lol

See ya on the tables

Welcome aboard Nick!

Yes, it's NE a bit, but there's NW as well.
We want people from EVERYWHERE... metro and regional to get on board! (No pun intended)

completely agree with David (don't let that go to your head Dave) :)

The more the merrier, now that some of the SW TD's are on board and the forum is part of the opening spiel we can look forward to players from everywhere sharing their views.

Would love to see some more pics of venues, will try to get some of the Blue Gums this Monday evening and maybe someone (ondie) can snap some of the Gully on Tuesday evening as well
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Hey guys,

I'm Jason and I like candlelit dinners and nice evening strolls along the beach (thats all rubbish by the way, I'll take a schnitty and paley over it any day).

I play in the NW and only started a few months back at the Lakes when the NPL began .. Have had the pleasure (and pain) of playing with/against Sean O, Harry and Des at the Palais and the Lakes.

Look forward to meeting y'all over time.

Cheers,
JK

Hey Jase,
I'll have to start playing the Palais to go up against you again, I still owe you for knocking me out a couple weeks ago & not winning the nite. Do you boys play at the Palais in your Bowling Whites now that the lawn bowls season has started???

I'm Ricky.

Last season I played at a number of venues all over the place, regularly on Wednesdays at the Woolshed, Thursdays at the Cathedral and the Strathmore, Fridays at the Windsor and Sundays at the Holdfast and Bridgewater. Occasionally I played at the Hahndorf Old Mill (Wednesdays), the Goodwood Park Hotel (Mondays) and the Bombay Bicycle Club (Thursdays).

I have played poker on and off for about 9 years. Those who played with me will know that the length of time I played does not necessarily equal any ability or skill! I have enjoyed playing NPL mainly because of the great people I have grown to enjoy spending time playing poker with, not to mention its cool staff.

I must congratulate and thank the creators of this forum, it is a great idea and I shall tell as many players about it as I can. Hopefully more CBD players (like myself) will participate on here.

By the way, I know who my favourite TDs (so I am nowhere near the fence) but I shall keep my opinions on that to myself!!

Regards
Ricky

Great to have you on board Ricky!

Yes, please tell as many people as you can about this. Forums can grow quickly with word of mouth, and we are hoping for some consistent "chat" on a daily basis to make people come back.

Hey my name is Luke

i am 18 year's old

Probably been playing poker for about a 8 weeks, and it started with talking with a mate at work about him playing poker at the crows taven in the NPL. Now after my first game in the NPL at the Lakes i could not stop playing now i play 4-5 times aweek trying improve my game as much as i can, since i have started playing poker i have been playing a few home cash game, in the cas and also made the Aussie Millions Satellite. NPL is great fun gets me out of the house during the week as alot of my friends still go to high school. At this time in my poker life, i am going through a hard patch started off the season on fire with going on 4 final table out of 5 games, but at late time's have had a few bat beats.

As for my regular venues i play at are Port Club, Portland, Grand Junction,Semaphore Palais.

Catch ya on the table

Luke
