To visit venues I haven't been to, including various Barossa/Gawler venues, and some down south. To ,meet various other people from the forum at these venues.
I had similar thoughts to this in the season just gone. Very liberating to just go out and play, not caring about the result too much, played some new venues etc. - then when everyone else is talking about finals, you just don't care, nor do you get anxious about who is sitting above you etc etc.
This season I want results tho!
Playing some far away venues is an interesting idea. I'm heading to Whyalla in cuttlefish season, but I couldn't see any games there on a Friday or Saturday night - is there a Whyalla person on here who can tell me if I've missed something?

Re: Season 3 - your goals and expectations
I want to keep improving, win tourneys and make it to finals again. Very impressed with how last season turned out (eg, my first wins and making it to finals again), so am hoping i don't go backwards.
Plus (i know it's not season 3 related), I would love to last longer than 2 hours at the upcoming finals, like i did with the last 2! I'm aiming for a solid 3 hours of finals fun

Re: Season 3 - your goals and expectations
I wanna keep my amazing run going. Im not sure if im playing well, getting very lucky or a bit of both but ive made 5 final tables in a row at my local, which always has between 43 and 49 players. Its weird actually.
