You mean the semi-finals and the GF running at the same time?

Since the semis have GF tickets up for grabs, I think it's safe to assume they won't be clashing ;)

The GF weekend will be held two weeks after the Victorian Semi Finals.

The dates for the Grand Final are late October, whilst Semis are held in September.

Regarding the GF, it might be an idea to offer some more Sats to it?
I know there's the freeroll/rebuy, but what about something like a $5-10 entry, with 1 seat for every 400 in the pool, like the monthly qualifiers?
Just an idea, to get more people in it and increase the prizepool? Also, will the Monthly Qualifiers be held right up until the last possible moment, ie will there be one in Oct?

I seem to recall someone, maybe it was Garth who said the home games scoreboard doesn't have any significance towards any advancement into another tournament like the top 50 away players, is that true??

And if that's so, what are the benefit of having a home score baord?

im not sure why qualification to the foundation semi final couldn't be awarded for these games to be honest.

More in venue satellites will be offered shortly.

I am no longer concentrating on the online aspect but wish to see more bums in seats in venues.

Also offering a $5 - $10 buy in event will not generate anywhere near $400 in the prize pool.

The last monthly qualifier for the Season 1 888PL Grand Final will be held in Septmeber, the Monthly Qualifiers after this date will only qualify players into the Season 2 888PL Grand Final.

No benefit what so ever.

It's a score board that was created with the possibility of future use. Just for bragging rights right now.

will there be any sort of super satellite to get into the grand final on the weekend of the event itself? i reckon a 50 buck tourney on the friday night before the grand final would be pretty cool.

Oh well!! I was hoping an advance into something would be good LOL. I'll put it down to advancing my skills and leave it at that.

What if the Top 50 were to buyin for $100 makes it an extra $5k to build the GF pot. :)
