Yeh, but it was ported around 5 years ago or something.

As much as we advance in technology it just seems more and more bugs are created.

I'm at a loss what is a ported phone and why the hell would you have one???????????? :roll:

Ported number I assume Bob. As in, you ported your mobile no to your new phone. On topic, the NPL sms's have been a touch overboard lately.

So does ported mean you transfered your old mobile numbers calls to a new mobile that has a different number??????????

No Bob, means taking your number from one provider to another.

i.e. You have a telstra mobile number, and you take it with you to optus.

I recently transferred phone companies, and im still recieving the SMS's fine.

Maybe because i brought my number from a pre-paid phone to a contract phone, but they are working fine for me.
