My goal was to play poker, so I achieved that.

I set myself low expectations because I know myself.
We've how about links I would like to know I walk the line scrunches line at how the client Lawrence etc. etc.

i wish i didn't set high expectations for myself, because it inevitably means i am disappointed most of the time :P

I thought playing in it would be quite possible, can't you just buy-in! Doing reasonably well is a different story ;)

i am not 2 happy with how iam going. i get to bored easy and throw big chip leads away some many times.

exactly, i could buy in next year if i wanted to, but it would be 10 grand (that i don't have) wasted

when i retire or win the lotto i reckon i would do it

Even the Aussie Millions would be awesome to buy into. It's a goal...

As for NPL, my goal is simply to make the regional finals. Hardly taxing I guess, but it's a start. I'm doing reasonably well at the venue overall, unfortunately any results I get seem to be spread over Thursdays and Fridays, which means overall I'm doing ok, but for each specific day I'm nowhere really.

I'm not brilliant at the turbo format, really. It seems to be more a matter of luck than skill, although I appreciate the good players will consistently rank. I prefer deepstacks where you can afford to make a play, and if it doesnt work, you can pick yourself up and try again. It it fails in NPL, it's effectively game over.

But did you actually play poker? Or did you just close your eyes and throw chips in the middle?
