I would hope that you'd get a choice.

Hey if it was a choice, and those events were included, i'd be there.

The HORSE is a 50k event though .. and the PLO of choice is a 5k rebuy ..

Don't like my chances of a seat that costly ;)

If I am ever in a position to make the top rung then I must say now for me it would be the cash. $10k, $5k or even $1k is a step towards clearing our mortgage.

I'm going to invest some cash in myself when I feel I'm able to hold my own in a big cash tourney. As yet I'm no where near ready so I'll stick to my small entry ones and try to improve.

Like others suggest the trip is a once in a lifetime chance to play in an event that would give you a chance to double the 10 grand many times over with a reasonable finish.

It certainly is, it's interesting to note how many people think that placing in the cash is a realistic possibility :P

I look at it like winning a small local lottery and then spending those winnings on x-lotto tickets.

BP in reality TH Poker is bit like x-lotto its a case of hope that you hit good numbers from the flop, turn & river to combine with your dealt hand, the real skill is how you play the hand or when to pull the trigger for a max win.
