NON-EVENTS - games that don't eventuate

Just wondering how many other people have won seats/qualified for tourney's that don't eventuate!

My latest NON-EVENT - on 28/12/09 I qualified for the "$1,000 888PL Grand Final Freeroll on Jan 3rd", it says go to http://www.888pl.com.au for details - SURE!!! - like THAT works

I can't log in to the site, I can find nothing about it anywhere & can't get any response from phone calls -fair enough it's holidays, but WHY would you organise this & have no form of contact in case of problems.

Other online poker venues automatically register you in the event if you win this sort of thing.

This is the 4th time this has happened to me since playing 888 on line. The 1st couple of times I just thought it was me being inter-net illiterate, the 3rd time others were also having problems & Garth posted that there would be another game organised for those people. I emailed Garth stating that I was one of those people but never had reply & missed out again. Now this!

Does this event actually exist???????

Ages ago I also won "extra chips at your next live venue" - yet another myth.

Am I the only one having these problems????

Tha Jan 3 event you have qualified for is tournament # 25614066 , it can be found under the "restricted" tab in the tournaments ... It is the only one that is TEAL of color
