Jmack

Started doing this 2 weeks ago when i got back onto 888pl home games

still havent implimented number 2/ fully but i am taking more time in my decisions and trying to assign hand ranges every time i act, even if i am obviously in front.

in terms of how i go, well thats not as important as just implimenting it, the results will take care of them selves if i do it properly.

Saying that i have posted some good returns in the last week, but i am having trouble closing - for ie- yesterday i came second in the Jmack, the day before i came 2nd in the daily and 3rd in the j mack, I have closed a PLO and 90 runner tilt tourney, but not quite consistant enough

so my next goal may need to be about closing, but im not sure exactly how this would be done with out making it a win goal, maybe increasing my agresiveness on the button 3 handed or something.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

That's good. It's the same sort of thing, making a conscious effort to do the things we need to to be successful. As you say, the results will take care of themselves, and as I said, this has got me playing better poker again, and it looks like you are as well....
What?, poker without the river??, you've just made my dreams come true!!!

for instance a few goals may be

1/ to take my time in decisions and think a hand through properly before acting
2/ to learn and implement maths into my game- outs, pot odds, implied odds etc
3/ to start assigning hand ranges to every player in every pot i am at the table at

these are just a few basic examples and you might say pffft i do that any way, but if you really think about it, you may see inyour game that you dont maximise these things every hand every street- i know i dont

if i start doing these things properly- like really properly then i will get better, then will asign another 2 or 3 things i need to improve on slightly higher level

Hey mate, this post kinda got lost in this thread, but I really wanna make sure it is pointed out. Can you please do these things you mention over the next few weeks and let us know how you go??
