who else is PUMPED for this year's ashes?
lee out will be a big blow, he was bowling well in the tour game. does that mean we will hav eto play, god forbid, nathan hauritz?
i reckon they will have to now.
anywho, i think its going to be a great series if the aussie quicks can actually start swinging the ball that is. siddle bowled brilliantly from what i saw of the SA test series, if he continues then i think australia will win. if it is left up to johnson to take all the wickets, it could well be a long series.

Such bad luck that Lee is out with injury. Was looking really potent in the tour match. He and Johnson opening would have been great to see.
LOL @ Hauritz

Anyone feeling extra generous and would like to pod-cast the grandstand coverage for me?
Will be out on boat from tomorrow morning, and not back until the following thursday and would love to be able to listen to the 1st test on my 2nd week out there.
Suitable compensation in the way to a carton/bottle can be arrange upon my return to Adelaide?

i can still have my opinion of how the series will go
there is nothing daunting about the australian lineup
no Mcgrath, Warne, Hayden, Gilchrist

they did beat south africa in south africa though, who are a much better lineup than england
it will all come down to how the australians handle the swinging conditions - whether its playing the swinging ball, or getting it to swing as a bowler
