because of this thread i guessed that federer had won last night, but i am reading the news report, and 16-14 in the fifth, WOW

i am guessing we won't see my brother on here till the afternoon, school holidays and Wimbledon final means he won't be up for a few hours yet. i am happy in the end that i didn't start watching it, would have been a tough day today if i did.

What makes the greatest sports person in the world?

Would say he is up their with the tennis greats. Thats just from the dominating aspect he has had over the last 5 years.

As for great sports people. Michael Jordan is up there, Tiger Woods, Lance Armstrong.

I will have to agree with Brett on Michael Jordan being one of the greatest.

Schumacher over druggie Armstrong any day, but I can't stand either sport.

Ulrich Salchow dominated men's figure skating in the early 20th centuy, can we include him??

motor sport is not a level playing field, so in my opinion it is impossible to compare drivers.

i mean look at this season - jensen button is dominating, and lewis hamilton is struggling.

at that level, all the drivers are good, but the machinery makes a bigger difference than the differences in skill.
