AUS v RSA 3rd Test

Postby David » Thu Mar 19, 2009 11:56 pm

Yes, starting a new thread.

Hughes, should've referred! Katich maybe didn't say anything. On first view, live, it looked outside the line and it was definitely outside the line on the replay.

Well done Bucknor - last test and still affecting the outcome :)

Ponting - I honestly don't think he hit that but I haven't see a lot of replays. Clarke was out of sorts - try moving your feet Michael. Let Steyn get right on top of him and caused his own dismissal.

And Hussey, what a waste. Tonk a few fours then come down late! Steyn's pace is all that he's got - not much besides that.

Alby looked sharper than I thought he would, surprising really - maybe the dark ball and light clothes make a difference.

Just as I type, I can hear in the other room Katich out - skying a Harris ball (how did he keep his place?).

Katich dismissal was very soft. Played solidly & then skied one. Strange shot, maybe he got bored with his own batting?!!

Not before I was bored - my least favourite to "watch".

Ditto. Graduated from the Bill Lawry School of Snore!

On another note, South Africa looks nice David...could be on the list with UK & the Caribbean....lots of casinos over there as well.

I'll put it third on my list, behind the WI and England as joint first. It is Cape Town though - the best looking area!

The RSA commentators are pissing me off.. very one sided. the appeal for Hughes earlier, huge inside edge and on the first replay... "well it will go on to hit the stumps, lets see what they say!"

Robyn Jackman is ok - although weird at times.

mcgain got spanked, 11 overs for 102. SA are 3/404 in response to our 209.

not sure what to think of him now

anyway, i used my 50 buck sportsbet free bet on south africa to win at 1.27. thats still pretty long odds if you ask me. its gonna have to rain for australia to stay in this. lead of 200 with 7 wickets in hand and 3 days to come, there is no way in hell australia are winning this, especially being a batsman down

South Africa look a FAR different team with Prince in the side in place of McKenzie. I have a lot of time for Ashwell, extremely solid player and showed it yesterday.

Johnson had one of his poorer days and going on past history, if that happens, Australia has a poor day too most of the time.

I never thought much of McGain playing for Victoria, found him too short. What he does works at shield level a bit more but against these class batsmen... well.

At least Krejza took a bag when he was spanked.
