Well, our first half was immensely impressive.
Delayed start due to massive electrical storm over the stadium, game started at roughly 8:30pm SA time.
Tim Cahill on his return scored in the 9th min with a beautiful strike, unmarked on the left hand side of the box.
At the 17th min, it was Cahill again, this time drawing a foul inside the box, to set up a penalty converted by Brett Emerton.
Rest of half was played in a relaxed manner by the Aussies, as Qatar tried several attacks, all resulting in shots well over the bar.
