Carlton/Collingwood tonight is the match of the round. I think Carlton are deserved favourites in this game and I think they will win over Collingwood. The odds suggest a close game but I am not so sure. The Pies lost their first game and Richmond were very competitive last week. If you took out the first 5 minutes of the third quarter of last weeks Richmond/Pies game, Richmond wins the game. Carlton won't allow such a defensive lapse. My bets for the game:
Carlton H2H @ $1.90
Carlton -5.5 @ $2.10
Carlton -3.5/Game Points over 187.5 @ $3.25

Ouch - how the game total didn't manage to get over 187.5 beats me... A profitable night nonetheless.

West Coast vs Hawthorn. Game of the round! Very keen for this, will be good to see if we stack up to the contenders this year. Only played the Hawks one time last year and lost by 3 points.

We're definitely closer, plus the home ground advantage is huge for us. Probably still have the Hawks slight favourites though.

hawthorn will be a big test for them, i think their rucks will smash hawthorns though, and could give them the edge. (then again, pretty sure jacobs won the rucks pretty easily and the crows still got smashed)

Hawthorn are the biggest test at home this year. Geelong too.

Collingwood could be back in form by round 17 or whatever it is when we play em. Freo always play above their current form as well.

St Kilda and Freo this week will be a fun game. :D

ross lyon should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute. he was worse than even paul roos ever was. i hate watching sk kilda, and now freo play.
