Awesome. Been too long.
I played some seasons with Tea Tree Gully years ago then stopped.

loving the way tomic is playing at the moment. shows a lot of composure for someone that is only 18 years old and is still not playing a full schedule of professional events.

http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/tom ... 6083138129

in terms of the future of australian tennis, i really like this line from the above article

"Ranked 158th at the start of the tournament, Tomic had to qualify. Having won seven matches in a row, Tomic is the youngest player to get this far at Wimbledon since German great Boris Becker in 1986.

At 18 years and 255 days, Tomic is the fourth youngest men's player in history to reach the last eight at the All England Club. Only Swede Bjorn Borg (17 years, 32 days), Becker (17 years, 227 days in 1985), American John McEnroe (18 years, 136 days) and Becker (18 years, 226 days in 1986) were more youthful."

yeah it doesnt' mean he will end up in that company, but i think people dont realise how young he is still, given that he i has been the next big thing for probably 2 years now.

Feels like so much more than two years that they've been talking about him.
