Trishan is just being a 8==D.

& where does it say they would not win a game??? No where.
"might" (used to express possibility): They might be at the station.
A possibility is not a prediction

Show me a court of law where that would be construed, as me saying Essendon would not win again.

Now you are just arguing semantics and you are still wrong. What you said again:

Might win round 17 can't see Essendon winning any other game this year

You said Essendon "might win round 17". Sure that's a possibility as you explain it above, but then you go on to say "[I] can't see Essendon winning any other game this year." There is no "might" used in that phrase. You said you can not see Essendon winning any other game. You predicted that Essendon would not win any game, besides the potentially round 17, and your prediction was wrong.

Any sensible person can see what you meant. Just eat humble pie and move on.

If somebody said to you "benny the cunt, you're so shit at poker, you're such a big luckbox, all you ever do is suck out and you'll never win another dollar for the rest of 2011." Then you have this massive argument for several days. He keeps telling how good a poker player he is and how crap you are. You tell him all the tournaments you have won in NPL/888PL and that you've won more than he has but he tells you your NPL wins shouldn't count because it's not the same league.

The argument is tit for tat and by the end of it you really want to prove this cocky and ignorant guy wrong. So you ship two out of your three next tournaments. One tournament happened to be the main event of the GSOP (Geelong Series of Poker) and you won $5mill. You know the guy tried the tournament twice in the past and didn't even cash.

If you come across this guy again, would you just let it go or would you say something to the affect, "Hey buddy, looks like you're a tool after all because I just won 2 tournaments, and it turns out you were wrong"?

If you honestly just say nothing, not even a one liner, you should receive your sainthood soon enough.

So funny on 7 different levels because said same guy might of won two out of three tournaments also.

AFL 2011

Postby AceLosesKing » Mon Jul 11, 2011 7:59 am

Mods, shut them down please, this thread is becoming tiresome and I don't want to have to wade through this each time I come into this thread.

Trishan, Harps, no one cares. Take your petty arguments to PM.

Back on topic, I still feel the same about the Dogs even if they are playing quite well recently. They have a tough run home (7/8 teams they play are higher then them on the ladder) and I don't think they can keep it going for the rest of the year. That's to take nothing away from their recent performances though (especially yesterday), they are playing well.

And how the hell has Callan Ward not taken that $5m from GWS yet. If I was a Dogs fan I'd expect it, what kid in their right mind wouldn't do the same.

WESSTTT COASSSTT! :D we can take top 4 this week if we beat the Saints and the Blues lose. A win puts us level with the Hawks as well, so 3rd is up for grabs, but I don't think our % will get us there yet.

Ohh and Swan is back in god like form again for my DT <3 1998 last weekend with 3 doughnuts, I'll take it.

Seriously?
Melbourne Demons. (Win) They not playing too great. Have beaten then last 4 times
Carlton (Defeat maybe)
Kangaroos (Win) They never play too great. Have beaten them last 4 times
Sydney (Probably Lose) Though have won 6 of last 8.
I think wouldn't be too surprised if we beat the Blues to be honest.

Looks like 2 from 2, considering not going to win any of the next 4/5. Kangas this week and think we will be in the 8!!!
