I said thank God.
It didn't require anything more than that. If it were going to go through, then I'd be getting Bacon on to it.
Then I'd say "Thank Bacon."

Trishan,
How good are Essendon?
SMASHED by a team you see going no where in the future.

I never said Essendon were better than the Hawks. We're in a growth phase, you've reached the peak of your growth when you should be winning premierships yet you couldn't beat Adelaide...

was 1st game of the season was over there which is always hard to win @. & you did brag 3 games in saying essendon would be top 4 & that you would beat the Hawks. we had 9 players out there tonight who are playing their 1st/2nd year.
Smith, Bruest, Savage, Puopolo, Lisle, Shiels, Suckling, Cheney & Whitecross.
yeah a lot of games between them

Its good to see the 'coach in the background' still hasn't developed the ability to adapt mid-game.
Not the greatest decision to leave a loose man down back ALL GAME for a team that possibly has the best foot skills in the league!!
Not much has changed down at Windy Hill Trishan.
It was a fantastic display from a depleted Hawthorn team, and Harps is spot on - our youth were on display - and they displayed skill and commitment and got the rewards.
It was an ol' fashioned smashin' last night - and boy was it sweet!!

Melbourne jump up to 7th after a good win against the Tigers.
That's 2 in a row lets see if we can improve to 3 on the trot with a win over the Dogs.

42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot.

It amazes me that the bulldogs are still mentioned in finals talk.

If you look at the ladder and our run in, should easily make the 8.
Easy game against the Demons this Friday night. and then only couple of points out the 8.
Though doubt we will make the Grand Final, think we can still talk about finals football.

I don't see the Dogs winning any of their next four games, maybe five. Then they have a bye, and play Essendon and Port in the two following weeks. Those are likely wins, then a loss to the Hawks and a coin flip with Freo at Etihad. Can't see them playing finals this year.
