Definitely stick Paine in.
Sucked seeing him on commentary duties when he could be out there!

It's not often I call for someone to be dropped.

(and no Ponting shouldn't be dropped)

First time ever all four innings were played on a single day, amazing, and yep, Haddin should go, inexcuseable shot

3rd time according to fox sports.

Here is a list of some of the amazing stats from this day of cricket.

fox sports wrote:23: Wickets that fell on day two. The fourth time 23 wickets or more have fallen on one day, the first time since 1903

3: Occasions Australia have been dismissed for under 100 in past 12 Tests. Before that, just once since 1984.

47: Australia's second-innings total. Their lowest score since 1902 and fourth-lowest ever (lowest is 36)

24.3: Overs South Africa faced in their first innings. Their shortest Test innings since readmission in 1991

14: Runs scored by Nathan Lyon. The eighth time in Test history a No.11 batsman has top scored

21: Runs scored by Australia's top nine batsmen.

26: Partnership between Nathan Lyon and Peter Siddle. The second time in Test history the final-wicket partnership have scored more runs than the previous nine wickets

4: Innings that featured on day two. The third time in history all four innings have featured on the same day

2: Times Michael Clarke and Jacques Rudolph were dismissed on day two. The first time in Test history a batsman from either team has been dismissed twice on the same day

17: Number of batsmen who fell for single-figure scores between Graeme Smith (37) and Nathan Lyon (14)

9: The average number of minutes between wickets from the start of the second session until the end of Australia's second innings. In that time, 19 wickets were taken for 94 runs.

0: Runs made my Jacques Kallis. The first time in 56 innings he has been dismissed without scoring

28: Balls it took Shane Watson to take five wickets. The second-fastest five-wicket haul claimed from the start of a spell.
Riskers gamble, experts calculate.

You think there might be an anti corruption probe into this match? How many catches do we want to drop?

It didn't help that Watson wasn't out, if Ponting was given not the referral wouldn't have overturned it and if there was a clear camera angle Hughes would've been overturned as well.

The rest of it was just terrible, especially hussey, Haddin and Johnson. Ridiculous shots given the situation.

The umpires are having the worst game out of anyone involved. I can't remember seeing so many wrong decisions in a single game before.
