so eyes on the ball trying to pass it on with an outstretched leg deserves a red card? maybe studs up but he won the ball, thats the thing

Cool... since the rules have changed saying if you win the ball its ok, then i will become the most dominatant player in history.

Oh hang on, the rules haven't changed.... studs up, red card.

the rule isn't 'studs up=red card', it's serious foul play or violent conduct.

If u get the ball, then 'Serious' hasn't occurred.

So I can elbow a guy to the side of the head while getting the ball at the same time?

Keep in mind I used to be a SASF Accredited Referee.
The outcome does not justify the means.

elbowing someone in the head is violent conduct.

And if u get the ball first, no foul has occurred. hence why lampard's red card has been rescinded. I'd trust the FA to get the rules right than you.

the point bacon is trying to make he had studs up but he didnt make contact with the player but the ball

look at the slow motion close in, no foul has occurred

FA did overturn the decision and deemed it was a wrong decision by the referee

That fair... but do the referee's get a slow-motion replay.

Obviously the assistant referee saw it the same way as they had a discussion before sending him off.

I still say sprigs up is bad!
