Robinho to Man City, Seriously?? 32.5 million pounds. Having just got SWP back (b!stard, why did you need to score a brace on your return :x ) they should do alright. Should.

Man U got Berbatov for 30.75 million.

All the goss on deadline day seemed to be centred around Man City either because of the new ownership or their attempt to hijack the signing of Berbatov (now THAT would have been hilarious).

Certainly didn't see them hijacking the move for Robinho, but am glad chelski didn't get him.

SWP should never really have left City, was never going to be a regular in that chelski side and that's only bad for his own development. I reckon he'd be absolutely stoked to be back - and 2 goals certainly won't upset him any :) Mark Hughes isn't a crap manager either so they may well find themselves firmly in the top 6.

Liverpool signed Riera, yay for a natural left winger! We might see more use out of Robbie Keane now. We also sold Finnan to Espanyol and Voronin is out on loan to Hertha Berlin (good).
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

I believe Spurs accepted Citeh's bid for Berba, but he refused to talk to them. There was a rumour they made a bid for Messi too :o

Liverpool needed someone on the left, ever since Kewell left  Apparently, they are letting Pennant rot in the reserves, cos he refused a move to Stoke (or someone)

Yes, I read that if he didn't accept that bid he risked rotting in the reserves. Seems he didn't, so he might.

I think that's a shame actually... I think he's quite decent on the right, has a marvellous one-touch cross and has the ability to beat more players than Kuyt seems to be doing. I'm a big fan of Kuyt as well.. just not on the right.

Billionaire businessman Sulaiman Al-Fahim, the front man of Manchester City's new owners Abu Dhabi United Group, says he is willing to spend £135m on Cristiano Ronaldo to bring the Manchester United winger. (The Guardian, 2147 BST)

I'd love to see that, because it'd upset old beetroot face SO much :D

I think Robinho is the chap you're referring to (but I understand it gets confusing with those Brazillians). Ronaldinho went to play in Italy.

And yes I do believe you are right, British record transfer fee for one Robson de Souza (Robinho).

Can play though!

wow manchester city are buying up big, robinho, SWP and zabaleta will sure push them close to a champions league finish this season

i really doubt that could be true about Ronaldo though, always so much speculation in the EPL but i hate man united so fingers crossed
