Ok ...

No real hard thoughts here , but here goes :

Bulldogs
Lions
Saints
Pies
Hawks
Cats
Swans
Crows

Port
Blues
Eagles
Bombers
Tigers
Kangaroos
Demons
Dockers

Definately going to be a good year for the Dogs i think ..
Barry to kick 100 , aswell as Fev for the Lions
Cats to struggle , with Gary's upcoming signing for the Gold Coast !

Yeah I've got Port further up the ladder, and Adelaide in the bottom half of the top eight.

we missed out by one game, collingwood knocked off the bulldogs in the last game of the season if i remember correctly

and i see real improvement in most of the younger players at the club.
so, providing they have a good run with injuries, and the older guys stay on the park, i can see them making top 4.

you sound like a typical football supporter that has no idea and can't look at any other team objectively bar their own.

Crows did miss out on 4th by 4 points but their percentage was way off, also the Bulldogs beat Collingwood in round 22 and that was for them to claim 3rd from Collingwood on percentage.

Plus, the Crows draw is a lot easier this year.

crows percentage was 120, to collingwood's 114, and bulldog's 121 but yes, bulldogs beat collingwood in the last round.

it was the dogs that could have slipped to 5th, if collingwood had won, then the crows would have been 4th.

i got collingwood and the dogs around the wrong way

That the typical response of a Crows supporter, take off you rose coloured glasses and have a reality check, at best the Crow may make the 8, it the older bodies of Bungy, Edwards, Stiffy and Truck hold up then the 8's a possibility, but I fear they may struggle this year if an injury or 2 hits a key player and they will consigned to bottom 8.

And I do look at my own team objectively they will finish in the bottom 4, but my move up a spot or 2 if a few thinks click in place but loss of Jurrah for 6 to 8, Silvia 2 to 4, Wonaeamirri another hammy and 3 others do not present a glowing start to the season for us.
42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot.

did you even read my comments above? i doubt it.

gundog wrote:Bungy, Edwards

they are old, but have been playing on the periphery for a season now. vince, mackay, thompson, etc are the midfield now. goodwin was the only older member consistently in the midfield.

gundog wrote:Stiffy and Truck

27 and 26 respectively. not exactly old.

gundog wrote:but I fear they may struggle this year if an injury or 2 hits a key player

once again, read what i said above. i said if they have a good run with injuries, they will push for a top 4 spot. which, considering they did that last year, i think is a reasonable assumption to make.

it would have been great if i was actually talking to you gundog, i was talking to des.

so how about you get your facts straight before typing.
