I really don't mind if Brett Lee misses out.
So straight up and down, as he always was - with less speed.
Apparently the Poms are bagging the Aussie squad. Pictures of Ronald McDonald or something similar.
Laugh it up Onions. Laugh it up Sidebottom.

Re: Ashes 2009
REDBACKS Callum Ferguson, Michael Klinger and Shaun Tait have made the Australia A side to take on Pakistan A from this month.
But they won't have the chance to play together during the series in Queensland, which will start with two four-day matches in Townsville then move to Brisbane for three one-dayers and a twenty20 clash.
Klinger and Ferguson are in the squad for the four-day matches and Tait is in line for a place in the shorter-format games.
"Following the four-day matches in Townsville, Ryan Broad, Michael Klinger and Burt Cockley will leave the squad and (David ) Warner, (Moises) Henriques and Tait will come in,'' national selection panel chairman Andrew Hiditch said.
"Our focus on the one-day matches is to take the opportunity to look at players with a view to our preparation for the 2011 ICC World Cup in the subcontinent."
Veteran Victorian allrounder Cameron White will captain the side in both four-day and limited-over matches.
The Australia A squad is:
Name State Age
Cameron White (c) VIC 25
Adam Voges v-c) WA 29
George Bailey TAS 26
Doug Bollinger NSW 27
Ryan Broad QLD 27
Burt Cockley NSW 23

Did I hear right this morning that Watson has already been ruled out of some game or another (maybe even the 1st test?)

First tour game rcon. he has a low grade quad strain at the moment. debate as to who his replacement might be if he can't play. hodge or fergussen look the most likely.

Re: Ashes 2009
hauritz got taken for 98 of 18 overs without a wicket in the recent warmup game, then katich came on and took a wicket
i think australia will go in with an all pace attack.
