Excellent, so who the hell has actually heard anything about this? :P

A couple of things that stick out.. what's with them having to be amateur? I'm sure there's a reason for it, but at first look it doesn't make sense.

It seems that they're not playing against an Australian side? What would be the reason for not doing that? I'd think it would be absolutely crucial to their development.

If that's the AFL's manner of 'expansion' it WILL be 50 years before there's international games against anyone else. I knew of an English Aussie Rules league when I was over there in 1991. Come a long way hasn't it......
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Fans arguing about which national code is better are idiots. Each sport has its own pros and cons.

And before the AFL fans start jumping down my throat, AFL isn't the national sport. Close to, but try telling that to QLD/NSW.

Be great for exposure and will give some of the lesser teams something else to aim for at international level, not to mention just plain getting some more international experience. Could this even be a catalyst for bringing more countries into the sport and having 2 different international levels (like a Div 1 and a Div 2)?
Meh, the cricket "powers that be" are so corrupted I'm surprised the game hasn't completely imploded. Oh, wait, it kind of has :( which makes me rather sad. The last think I want to see however, is more crappy T20, esp if it is played for the Olympics - as I can't really see that doing the integrity of the game much good!

i kind of skipped through this as well i couldnt care less about afl supporters trying to convince themselves about how good their game is. But Matty Mac an afl player who can tackle, please please show me one. The average afl player would be snapped like a twig in the nrl.

As for the wrong spelling oops my bad, i guess it happens because when i played a game and got hit in the head i actually got up, didnt roll around crying like an itallian soccer player who fell over their own feet with 10 seconds remaining.

But i guess who cares about our world cup, well severall countries do and 3 states of australia dont.

in conclusion if you want to continue this it may turn into melee for which you will all recieve 4 weeks on the sideline foe some ballroom dancing.

LOL

Matty at least when a player in an AFL game is tackled they are actually trying to get away from the tackler.

The situation happens every NRL game where players aren't actually trying to get past their tackler, but much the same as touch football, are trying to get the tackle over as quickly as possible to ensure that the ball is played as quickly as possible and they can move the ball down the field as quickly as possible and catch the defending team off guard. Players are half-way to the ground before they are even tackled in the first few tackles. Its tactically (besides kicking) exactly the same as touch football.

In union and Australian rules, players actually avoid being tackled if they can help it.
Riskers gamble, experts calculate.

You may all laugh, but 8 years of training, numerous interstate competitions, and some high level exams in the New Vogue style, I think I could take you all down.

*edit* It's been 14 years since my last competition though.
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become
