you must have been living under a rock lately bacon, there has been plenty of talk about dropping hayden

i have read more about that than symonds - although watson got a 7 for and smashed 80 odd against SA so he isn't doing his chances any harm

Ponting failed in both innings in the first test too. Guess he has to go as well.

He is a 100 test player... you dont just drop someone who has given his heart and soul to the baggy green over so many years.

once a player reaches a certain age they just stop playing at there best and that just is not good enough when there is talent waiting in the wings

mark and steve waugh were better players then Hayden imo and they were forced out pretty quickly when there form started to fall

A "hack" isn't someone who is showing signs of age, and therefore slipping to a lesser output, but someone who was never any good, and didn't deserve to be in the team.

well there was a few years hayden wasnt a starter in the team and Waugh always was and Hayden played more in the era where Australia dominated everyone and played teams like Bangladesh and other second rate teams

i still think Mark was a better player, in my opinion, great fielder as well
