hopefully WI declare overnight.
they have enough runs, i doubt australia can chase them down - 300 on a final day is pretty tough

Windies will be happy with draw. Australia could chase down 300 if things go right - they def have the batting power. Windies will bat till they get out tomorrow or till lunch, whichever comes first.

Re: 2nd Test - Aus v WI: Predictions?
Tell me why the hell WI would be hppy with a draw? The only way they can win the series is if they win this game. They have to win this game, i agree that declaring overnight would be a good move though - the worst thing they can do is get a lead that is too big, the aussies will just shut up shop if thats the case.

Cos they're $hit lol Aus are very capable of scoring 300 runs in 90 overs and WI don't want to get cute, declare and lose. Their bowling attack will not get 10 wickets in 90 overs so they aren't going to win. Batting till they make a total Aus will never reach is the safest option and then try for 10 wickets (HIGHLY unlikely) Of course it's catch 22 - bat for longer less time to get Aus out. A 300 run lead is touch and go with Aus' lineup.
WI will keep batting to lunch or just before lunch if they can make it that far and they should, by that time have a lead of 350-375 and that should be enough for the draw.
If you want to bet - put money and lots of it on the draw* You can still get odds of $1.60ish which isnt terrible.

Australia 4.00 (20.00%)
West Indies 5.50 (15.38%)
Draw 1.57 (61.08%)
Those are the odds you can get with a bookie. So by my calcs you would get $1.83 for a result.
