thats a pretty good effort at spelling for a league supporter.
and the answer is they will be playing some international against new zealand. and because of this, they will make out that they are as good as union, which is a truly international game.

I've been told on good authority it's called a "TYPO"
But I still think it's when you actually F_ ck UP when your typing and can't spell properly.

The rugby league world cup is actually on during this time benny the cunt, but you are certainly forgiven for not knowing this as NOBODY GIVES A SHIT!!
Rugby league is a tactically inferior game played by dumber people and watched by dumber supporters. It has such a norrow set of techniques that you could teach a naturally gifted athlete to play this game in a couple of weeks. Its no suprise that so many rugby league playere want to go and play union, a game that is actually interesting.
Questain (spelling intended): how many AFL players could switch and play top level reugby league at the present time. My guess is quite a few. I can tackle - yep, i can catch - yep, i can perform the occasional side step - yep, IM IN.
On the contrary, there would be very few players from the NRL that could play AFL. If requires much more talent, more fitness and a lot more game sense (reading the play. decision making etc).
Take that Hopoate Huggers!!!

Re: Attention Matty Norwood!
Just in case anyone was interested in what a real sport was happening during Oct/Nov
Australia in India, September-November 2008
New Zealand in Australia, November 2008-February 2009(this one hurts cricket more than helps it tho)
AFL is really only useful for keeping cricket season from bumping into each other

LOL @ QUESTAIN !!!!!
Hey Bob, a typo is when it's fairly obvious someone has just hit the wrong key. Example: "I oqn you". This clearly should be "I own you" and it's obvious that the q is right next to the w. It's not too hard to spot a typo versus what is very poor spelling.
Matty was good enough to provide us with an example of very poor spelling, we can tell this because after "quest" he has "ain" instead of "ion" and we can see that the a is absolutely nowhere near the o. This also proves our good mate Matty is a League fan
I can almost hear Dave screaming out to me to correct something else too.... AFL is not a sport. It's the governing body of the sport called Australian Rules Football. So calling it "AFL" is a bit like calling Rugby "ARU". Pretty silly.
Matty has a great point, what on earth WILL Aussie Rules be doing? They just don't seem to care about expansion (or nobody else cares about Aussie Rules) and the closest thing they'll have to an international is the International Rules series - which actually isn't too bad, but it's just not the same thing and is clearly a massive compromise.
League World Cup - are there more than 3 countries competing?
If we don't win it's a disgrace.
Rugby World Cup - spot on macca. This is truly an international sport and I think this is the 3rd largest sporting event in the world. Number 1 is the Football World Cup and number 2 is the Olympics. That's right, the World Cup is bigger than the Olympics.
Cricket as an Olympic sport? - This intrugues me, and I tend to agree that the 20/20 form of the game would probably suit best. Be great for exposure and will give some of the lesser teams something else to aim for at international level, not to mention just plain getting some more international experience. Could this even be a catalyst for bringing more countries into the sport and having 2 different international levels (like a Div 1 and a Div 2)?
Sorry guys, am home crook and really only just got out of bed and felt the need to socialise so excuse the rambling

Pete just be careful about mouthing off too quickly
http://afl.com.au/Development/Internati ... fault.aspx
This will be the second International Cup for Australia Rules Football that the AFL have hosted - it was a very successful event in 2005 also. And before people spout carp about ex-pats, all 16 teams participating are forbidden from containing ex-pat australians.
So in fact, the AFL DO care about expansion. There are national Australian Football leagues in the USA, Brittain and in many other European countries, and Australian Football is one of the fastest growing participation sports on the planet.
And we all know the work that the AFL is doing to expand its brand within home markets, something it has done successfully in the past (Brisbane, Sydney) and it looks certain to do so in the future (Gold Coast, Tasmania, Western Sydney), unlike the NRL and their horrible expansion attempts in the mid 90's.
So Australian Football isn't the biggest sport in the world..........(yet)
Most would agree that it has one of the most spectator freindly and exciting spectacles out of any sport in the world. So its only a matter of time in my belief - not 10 years, probably not 30 years. But maybe in 50 years time we will see Australia play against somebody other than Ireland.
