Pete, i never said that soccer wasn't a big participation sport before the inception of the a-league, but EVEN MORE kids are playing it now. True?

I read it as more along the lines of you saying "suddenly it has a lot of participation and that's because money was spent at the top level".

I was merely pointing out that it's always had a huge level of participation but that yes, it probably has even more now due to the recent success of our national team.

That is of course, awesome.
