Notice they don't actually show the shot of Phelps touching the wall? His arms (which would be out of the water) would be moving much faster than the other guy would glide thru the water.

why don't they show the underwater footage when they are actually touching the wall, and not when they are still a foot or so away?

in addition to this, there was a protest by the serbs straight after the raise, and it was IMMEDIATELY dismissed by the officials.

they also come out and said that phelps won by 4.7mm, and the underwater shot when they are actually touching the wall, shows phelps in front.

And remember guys, a swimming race is only over once they touch the wall with a flat palm. Thats when the clock stops. So one guy could touch the wall with his finger tips first, but still lose the race......
