with the ashes coming up, i thought it would be worth starting a new thread.

and WOW, pakistan roll australia for 88 just after lunch on the first day.

australian batsmen seem to have all at sea against the swinging ball in the past few years.

a performance like this does not bode well

looked like the ball was seaming around too.

there was one ball that cut ponting in half, that was as good a ball i've ever seen in 25 years of watching cricket, swung in and seamed away.

absolute peach of a ball!

Why bat on an overcast day against 3 quality seamers?

Yes looks like its going to be an interesting series...of course I totally forgot to book my tickets for the 1st test... even tho I was getting email reminders every few days for the last month :oops: :oops: :oops: and now they are sold out !!so its tv for the ashes for me...
