Does anybody know just what the hell Billy Corgan is singing in this song? After 13 years or so years of listening to it i still cant figure it out. And i mean without finding lyrics on the net.

I think from memory (without looking it up also) it's basically about growing up in that year & what went on around him??

Well according to Wikipedia....
According to Corgan, the song is about making the transition from youth to adulthood

Interesting bit of info..
There's a song by them done more recently, and the video clip has the same kids from that song in it, but older.
Apart from one - who is in jail.
