very original

havent liked it since season 1 as it just seems to be going on and on and on and on etc etc

its just overdoing the plot a bit now

But the plot changes? At least it has when I watch it.

I wouldn't say it's gone "on and on".. I mean it's only season 4.. many shows have up of 7 seasons (with the SAME characters etc etc)

But its the same premise though, breaking out of prison. If they took it to other avenues, ala Season 2, it would work - the characters and writing are good enough. Its a bit like 24; many people find it hard to believe Jack Bauer is involved in the days events AGAIN.

Any TV show has the same premise.

Will & Grace is a couple of gay and straight people full of innuendo.
24 is terrorists from xxxx country, and they need to be stopped.
Friends is the same friends in the same situations over and over (and over) again.

A show is a show because it has a premise.

There's only been three seasons; breaking out of Fox River, On the run from the authorities (and the company) and then breaking out of SONA in Panama (which was a lot different, and only 13 eps anyway, compared to season 1). Season 4 is different again.

comparing will and grace to prison break is a long stretch

will and grace is a situation comedy so it has a premis but no underliying continous story, they can go anywhere from week to week

prison break and 24 are diferent where we are asked to belive that the events are hapening in order and in a real time period

I would just like to see some closure from time to time not an endless story that keeps going because the last season rated well so we throw another season together
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

u know, that when the guy originally submitted the screenplay to the network he had only wrote 44 episodes - 2 seasons, and after half way thru season 1 it was so popular they began to write more. it would have been very epic to just have 2 seasons, woulda been something to remember

you know aaron i think that is exactly the point i was trying to make ( but very poorly)
Just because they can do more series doesnt mean that they should
24 and prison break are both examples of shows that i rated as must watch in the first couple of seasons now i dont even bother to watch either because i know what is going to happen

they went for the money and ruined the show
