SEASON 2 STATE FINALS

Just got back from the State Finals... It was well organised and as well as a great venue... But how come we didn't receive a NPL state final season 2 necklace like we did for season 1? Would have liked to received one of these for all the hard yards us players had to go through just to get there... Seems a shame just to walk away with no momento at all...

I agree Darren, everyone put in a lot of hours to make it to the state finals would have been nice to get a little something to remember the experience You get something for making the final table each week, this was the state final !!! surely they could of given out something, all in all it was a fantastic day though & all the people involved in putting it to gether ( Port Club, TD's, Nathan & Garth ) should all be comended for there effort, great job guys I had a blast

i was chip leeder at the 3rd brake witrh 101k and got some great hands to be pind at the line. was a gd day, but i am unhappy with my 22nd after being chip leader. there allways is season 3 c ya there guys.

What time did you get knocked out Luke? I was knocked out at 6:20 in 25th when I simply ran out of chips.

I think it may have been you that knocked me out. I had AK and called the big blind (14,000) which put me all -in. BB checked with 7-3 I think and caught a seven on the flop.

I am so happy to get to where I did. Another 5 spots would have been nice so I had something to show for my 7+ hours but I am happy with the way I played. Inthe end with the blinds so high my tourney life was in the hands of Lady Luck.

I hope to see you all there next year. Cant wait to see all the results and piccies on the website.

I was 1K behind Luke with 100K after 2nd break and ended up 12th. Hit a run of flushes and full houses. Chris Bray took a lot of my chips when I foolishly called a flush draw. (Really should have known better and still kicking myself) Luke and I both play at the Grand Junction Tavern although I havn't played against him very often. Awesome day and very well run. Great to see a poker mate, Michael Wilkinson win.

wow things must have really tightened up around the bubble. If you only lost 3 more players in the hour after I left. I really would have had to get lucky to hang around that long. I am sure that you were on my table now. You were opposite me I think. I was the first to leave after the dealer joined our table. I didn't hang around after but I am guessing they would have broken another table soon after.

alot of crazy shit happend has u have prob read to me, got so unlucky after working so hard. but overall was a gd day i got up to the stage i wanted to. i sent my self 25th and got there so not bad at all. still very pissed off at my slef and the cards.

wilko what were you thinking calling my allin well season 2 has come and gone and the finals been run and won congrats to wilko on winning and to all that made the final was easily the best run tourny i have had the privilage to play in pity i couldn`t get over the line but i`ll take 4th anyday to all the npl staff on the day and to all the others that couldn`t make it THANK YOU from everyone that plays.
