create some other threads if you want to discuss specific issues, but use the poll above to tell us who you are going to vote for.
if you want to say why you are voting for whoever, then post below, but dont debate issues in this thread

Probably the LDP in both, with preferences flowing to the Liberals.

i am going to vote labor as well i think
i have voted labor at every election, but this one has been tough. it comes down to the NBN and the fact that tony abbott is a crazy right wing idiot.
if they had turnbull it would be really tough. but unlike you rcon, i thought his willingness to at least enter into a discussion on emissions trading was excellent.
similarly, i didn't mind hamilton smith in the state election, but when they got rid of him for redmond, i definitely decided to vote labor.

LDP lefties? HA! They're a fairly libertarian party - individual freedom with small government.

The LDP believes Australians pay far too much tax and wants to see them substantially reduced. Since 1996 per capita taxation has increased by more than a third, not including the GST and after allowing for inflation. As a share of GDP, taxes (federal and state) are 75% above what they were in 1972, when the Whitlam government was first elected.
